Lyrics:

Go on, ask me how I am.
Not that you care anyway, it’s just polite
Well I’ll say I’m fine
But really I’m dying inside
But if I told you, would you mind?
Go on, ask me how I am
If you want the truth I’ll tell you the truth
I’ll tell you it all

(Pre chorus)
I’m terrified
I’m trying to hide it but it hurts inside

(Chorus)
Don’t tell me it’s fine
‘Cause it’s not alright
All these problems I face in an uglier place each time
And I don’t understand how you can stand there and smile
It’s going your way
But for me it’s not alright

I know they say it’s good to talk
But you don’t want to hear it,
You just ask.
Please tell me how to fill all this space inside my head
‘Cause I’m done feeling like I’m dead

(Pre chorus)
I’m terrified
These monsters in my head just won’t let me hide

(Chorus)
Don’t tell me it’s fine
‘Cause it’s not alright
All these problems I face in an uglier place each time
And I don’t understand how you can stand there and smile
It’s going your way
But for me it’s not alright

(Bridge)
A world full of darkness
No light
But you don’t get it, your soul’s too bright

I’m terrified
I’m terrified
